Finding Us
Travel from the South-East
You are travelling from the SOUTH-EAST and are driving on the A33 motorway (Paderborn - Bielefeld - Sennestadt) and/or you are coming from the SOUTH and driving on the A2 motorway (Dortmund - Hannover - Berlin):
- leave the motorway at exit 29 Herford / Bad Salzuflen;
- now turn right onto the B 239 (towards Herford) and drive around Herford on the dual carriageway ring road, until you come to a rail underpass. Get into the left lane here, as you will reach a cross-roads with traffic lights (9 km);
- turn left at the lights (towards Kirchlengern / Lübbecke) and keep following the B 239, passing to the east of Kirchlengern and through Lübbecke, and further past Espelkamp, until you reach the turn-off for Rahden (33 km);
- here, turn right onto the L 765, the “Lübbecker Straße” and follow the road (passing the “Hotel & Restaurant Bohne” after 400 m) until after about 900 m you reach a tight S- bend;
- (attention!) immediately after the end of the bend turn right into the “Vordamm” and follow the lane, until you reach a cross-roads after a sharp left turn (700 m);
- here, turn right onto the L 765, the “Mindener Straße”, and continue over the level crossings. After a further 100 m, you will see a street to your left;
- turn left into this street, the “Auf der Welle” (follow the white sign “Heinrich Räker”) and drive on a further 200 m, until you see an housing estate on the right hand side;
- turn right here into the “Stellerloh” and follow the narrow lane for about 500 m through a birch avenue until you see the house (Nr. 65) on your right.
